Waiohiki Community Charitable Trust...

The Waiohiki Community Charitable Trust was formed in October 1989. The Trust is a partnership between the Moari and Pakeha families living in the rural areas of Korokipo, Pakowhai and Waiohiki who collectively make up the Waiohiki Community. The Trust facilitates community based social and economic development. The Trust manages the Waiohiki Creative Arts Village on State Highway 50, opposite the Napier Golf Links. The complex houses The Taradale Pottery Group, The Hawke's Bay Woodturners Guild, Artists Anonymous, Pa Whakairo Group, Heather Turner and sculptor, John Gisborne.
